Nestled into the gentle slopes of this pristine nature reserve, Hopewell Conservation Estate’s Glamping Experience offers an idyllic encounter with the rich natural beauty and heritage of South Africa’s Eastern Cape.
Surrounded by 2 500 hectares of tranquil and unspoiled fynbos and valley bushveld, guests can immerse themselves in the spectacular landscape, unwind to the sounds and calls of the African bush and reconnect with nature amidst the infinite natural beauty and wonder of one of South Africa’s most biodiverse regions.
Blending in seamlessly with their surroundings, the newly opened luxury cabin - the first of it's kind in South Africa - and four eco-friendly tents perfectly frame magnificent views of picturesque valley scenery, dramatic cliffs and the gently flowing stream which winds its way below the camp.
The skilfully appointed cabin enjoys a range of top-class finishes from a queen bed with crisp percale linen, en-suite bathroom with shower, fluffy towels and bathroom amenities, a complete modern kitchenette, sleeper couch, fireplace and flat screen TV. Wake up surrounded by serene vistas and relax as you soak in the view, the fresh air and enjoy a warm cuppa from the comfort of this beautiful modern oasis.
Each spacious tent can accommodate two guests and is fully-furnished with all the creature comforts, from en-suite bathrooms and hot showers to percale linen and plush fleece blankets. With mobile connectivity, access to the Estates sparkling 18 m swimming pool, and complimentary WiFi (available at the adjacent Vineyard Clubhouse), it’s all the pleasure of a bush camping adventure enhanced by the amenities of hotel luxury.

Enjoy a steaming cup of coffee whilst watching the sun rise over the valley and listening to the dawn chorus of over 150 bird species
Explore the rich diversity of life across five of South Africa’s nine recognised biomes, all found within the reserve. An unforgettable experience whether you opt for a gentle self-guided walk or choose to explore the network of multi-purpose trails - developed with mountain biking, tail running and hiking in mind. Guests to supply their own equipment.
Alternatively, test your wildlife spotting skills on the 25 km self-drive game drive route and appreciate the splendour of watching indigenous game, including giraffe, Cape mountain zebra and eland in a millennia-old landscape and as they meander through the bush (Note: a high ground clearance vehicle required).
Enjoy a private game drive through the world-renowned Addo Elephant National Park. Situated just 50 minutes from Hopewell Conservation Estate, Addo Elephant National Park is South Africa's third largest game reserve and home to 7 of South Africa's Big 8.

Each of the 4 stylish tents can accommodate 2 guests and include:

- Surveillance and recording devices on property - 24 hour patrols
- Swimming towels not provided
Cancellations
Online Cancellation Policy:
Guests will be charged 50% of the total accommodation value if they cancel after reservation, and the total accommodation value if they cancel in the 30 days (i.e. 29-0 days) prior to date of arrival.
