Species List

The 2500 ha nature reserve has a variety of indigenous game such as giraffe, eland, mountain zebra and many other secretive species.

Hopewell's landscape is made up of a mixture of Eastern Cape vegetation types, ranging from the grassy fynbos plains, to the subtropical thickets in the north and deep riverine valleys. This diversity plays home to over 150 bird species
