Vineyard Clubhouse

An intimate multi-purpose venue within a grand setting.  Nestled in the scenic foothills of the Lady's Slipper Mountain, the Vineyard Clubhouse is a central hub with verdant terraced lawns, a sparkling 18-meter pool with adjoining children's section where in-house guests and residents can enjoy a cup of coffee, book their activity preferences, check in and out of their accommodation or simply relax with a sundowner.  The Clubhouse is also a popular choice for private events and wedding bookings.

At Hopewell Conservation Estate, wedding dreams come true. The Sentry can comfortably accommodate 160 guests banquet style. The Sentry is the ideal wedding venue which is conveniently situated just 30 minutes from Port Elizabeth Airport and 15 minutes from Baywest Mall. We will tailor-make your special day according to your needs. It will be unforgettable.

Conferencing

Hopewell Conservation Estate offers a beautiful and unique conference facilities in our Sentry Venue. Ideal for year-end parties, corporate conferences, vehicle launches. The Sentry can accommodate up to 200 guest’s cinema style or 160 banquet style. We invite you to meet with us to discuss the many options available and your specific requirements

Valley Concert

Hopewell Conservation Estate presents its popular outdoor Valley Concert, featuring an all-day line up of South African talent. Past headline acts saw Matthew Mole and Gangs of Ballet attracting over 3000 people.

Our Valley Concerts are fun for the whole family, complete with artisanal food stalls, craft beers and select wines, and a kiddies’ play area.

Vineyard

In 2016, in conjunction with top viticulture consultants from the Western Cape, Hopewell planted a 2-hectare vineyard of Shiraz and Semillon cultivars with the aim of ultimately producing its own unique range of wines for its residents and visitors to enjoy. The inaugural harvest, produced in partnership with renowned wine-maker David Finlayson, produced the delightful Everlasting Shiraz Rose 2020.
